Wiley and the Austrian Academic Library Consortium (KEMÖ) have concluded a Read and Publish agreement for the period from January 2024 to December 2026, enabling corresponding authors affiliated with the institutions listed below to publish Open Access in Wiley’s gold and hybrid journals at no additional charge.

Who is eligible?
Research and teaching staff employed by as well as students enrolled at a participating member institution in the role of 'corresponding author'. In case of multiple corresponding authors the "responsible corresponding author" is eligible. Wiley identifies eligible authors through their affiliation.
Which article types are eligible?
Articles of the following types: Case Study, Commentary, Data Article, Education, Lecture, Method and Protocol, Perspective, Practice and Policy, Rapid Publication, Research Article, Review Article, Short Communication, and Technical Note
What license options are available?
Available CC license options for authors depend on the individual journal guidelines.
When do authors have to be affiliated with a participating member institution to be eligible for funding?
Wiley Hybrid Open Access Journals: Authors must be affiliated with a participating member institution on the acceptance date.
Wiley Gold Open Access journals and Hindawi Gold Open Access journals: Authors must be affiliated with a participating member institution on the submission date.
What costs are covered by the agreement?
Article Processing Charges (APCs) are fully covered by the agreement.
